  • Position will manage and treat patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary hypertension (PH) and other conditions of the lung.
  • Position will be comprised of inpatient pulmonary consults and outpatient clinic coverage
  • Collaborative, supportive team comprised of physicians, advanced practice providers, pulmonary function technicians, medical assistants and administrative support staff.
  • Monday through Friday work schedule, no weekends or call coverage.
  • Adult gerontology, primary care, or acute care certified NP's and Physician Assistants are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

  • ?Graduation from a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner educational program approved by the State Board of Licensing or found by the Board to be substantially equivalent to the programs in Maryland required.
  • Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner required.
  • Experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in pulmonary medicine preferred, not required.
  • Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
  • DEA and CDS eligible.
